Centr. is a forward looking security company that offers clients the peace of mind that comes with offering a comprehensive security solution. Our ability to offer all types of alarm and IoT device monitoring as well technical installations and maintenance has been developed over time.

Our CEO, Rob Nichol, first founded AI Surveillance (AIS), in late 2018 after 3 years as MD of Red Surveillance – an offsite monitoring company which was bought by new shareholders and bundled into a larger group.

AIS challenged normal security industry standards by being driven by a belief that customer service is a competitive advantage and an intrinsic component of future success. A unique perspective for a security company which quickly made it attractive to corporate clients looking for personalised, dedicated service previously not experienced in the industry.

AIS became a market leader in offsite CCTV camera surveillance as the demand for a good quality service combined with the best technology continued to increase. The team grew from 8 employees in March 2019 to over 75 employees today and continues to do so.

The name change occurred when it became apparent that the expertise and capacity of the company had reached the stage where it could expand its CCTV surveillance offering to providing a full ARC for clients.

We believe that controlling all aspects of the alarm network from a central command centre will streamline our processes even further and will enable us to put solutions in place sooner and reduce risk faster. We are challenging the standard concept of security by providing bespoke, smart solutions needed to deliver on our promise of providing safety to our clients.

We are confident to call ourselves the leaders as we harness the experience of suppliers, the power of technology and the dedication of community stakeholders including armed response and the SAPS to make sure that our chain of communication is clear to handle critical incidents professionally.
